A beautiful canal house at the Keizergracht in Amsterdam is a national monument and has a high-quality monumental in- and exterior. Not long ago, it is transformed into a modern and energy-efficient office building for a big IT company.
The facade of the building remained it’s classic glamour and got a well isolated inner-layer. In the interior of the building, the history and the spatial structure were recognizable and legible. In addition, the spatial quality of this formerly slotted stronghold is well connected.

In a close coorperation with Heyligers D + P, Shuying has worked in the concept and the technical phases. The success of the complex is ensured by a intensive collaboration between owner, architect and contractor, as well as their strive for the maximum.
