RENOVATION STUDIO

This space was initially used for storage, but it’s about to undergo a remarkable transformation into a comfortable living area with a dedicated home workspace. While the exterior remains unchanged, the interior will be fully insulated and adorned with a new wooden shell.

At the heart of the design is a wooden structure serving as both a divider between the bedroom and living room and a housing unit for a wardrobe and bathroom. This central element not only creates separation between the spaces but also maintains a visual connection between the northern and southern balconies.

HOTEL REGENERATION FOR THE FUTURE

The global pandemic may have temporarily halted travel, but its impact is expected to extend well into the future. The building adjacent to Station Voorburg in The Hague has remained vacant since the onset of the pandemic. In collaboration with our client, IHG Hotels & Resorts, we anticipate significant transformations in hotel meeting spaces, lobbies, guest rooms, and food and beverage offerings. This regeneration project serves as a showcase of the designer’s vision for the future of hotel design.
