APARTMENT IN AMSTERDAM
To create a harmonious blend of the clients’ modern lifestyle with the historical essence of the building, alongside melding comfort with tradition, the renovation of this Amsterdam apartment utilized a refined selection of light and warm materials. The outcome is a warm family residence that truly celebrates the designer’s attention to detail.
This design project called for an extension into the backyard to accommodate a new kitchen area with a garden view, transforming the previously open space shared by the living room and kitchen into two distinct seating areas. Additionally, it involved a refresh of the bedrooms and the creation of a dedicated home office space. In collaboration with the client, we selected a fundamental color and material palette, prominently featuring natural wood while incorporating varied color accents to distinguish and enliven each space uniquely.
