This exclusive boutique hotel, situated on the top floor of a contemporary office in a repurposed factory in Chengdu, China, boasts a total of four uniquely designed rooms. The owner gave me the creative freedom to craft these spaces specifically for his clients and friends, aiming to provide a deep dive into the studio’s distinctive working culture and philosophy. This design strategy transforms a formerly stark and concrete structure into a modern and welcoming retreat while preserving the building’s industrial heritage.
